The 2-day conference was held last October 4 and 5, 2017 at Conference Centre, Level 4, United World College of South East Asia, 1207 Dover Road, Singapore. A series of keynotes from International and local speakers were held on the first day while the second day was jam-packed with numerous workshops and sessions during the Academic Adoption Day and Developers Day.
The Blackboard Academic Adoption Day was highly interactive and engaging as participants were given opportunity to collaborate with colleagues. It opened avenues to explore the key priorities within the institutions and identified the common themes and issues with support and adoption strategies.
The Developers Day or DevDay was designed to inform the Developers and System Administrators of the latest technical information surrounding Blackboard Learn, as well as to provide opportunity to interact with peers from around the region. The DevDay sessions focused on integrating campus systems, extending new functionality, and meeting an institution’s specific requirements.
A variety of hands-on workshops were also presented by Blackboard’s clients, product experts and educational consultants. The participants were free to choose which track to attend namely; Track 1 Technology, Track 2 Adoption, Track 3 Content and Track 4 Student Engagement.
After the conference, LPU’s delegates brought with them new knowledge and enthusiasm to implement the innovative and unique ways in integrating technology in our learning environment.
