IGNITE: Keeping the Lycean Scholar’s Heart Burning

The  LPU Scholastic Society (LPUSS) gathered  to celebrate  another year-end victory event  entitled “”IGNITE: Keeping the Lycean Scholar’s Heart Burning” last February 23, 2017 from 8:00 am to 12:00 nn at the University Phase II Lobby.  The organization invited Engr. Paul William T. Echavez, Top 9 of the September 2016 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination, now a member of the faculty in the College of Engineering, Computer Sciences and Architecture, to share his heart-warming story. He talked about  how faith played  a vital role on his recent success and the changes in his life eversince.

 Also, graduating BS Accountancy students Leonardo Saldivar Jr, a JPL-SHL Scholar, and Patricia Jean Quizmundo, a Regina Laurel Scholar, shared encouraging stories about their victories, struggles and failures as  students as well as what they are hopeful for in the future.

The event ended with the closing remarks of the organization’s President Ms. Princess Romyna Guevarra, who thanked all scholars for being consistently “Studying Smart”.
